Yoga and weight loss?
My wedding is in a year and have been trying to work out (more than one out of the diet), these pounds. I have a goal of lose 30 pounds and so far have lost about 5 in 2 1 / 2 weeks. I’ve been taking alli and follow the diet strictly necessary for the program to avoid problems bathroom. I’ve been trying to eat at 1,600 cal and 17 grams of fat per day, while also taking alli. I’m a college degree and have to take a yoga class for a loan from relatives. So it’s summer, classes are longer than a normal semester. So it’s going to do yoga every day for 2 hours. It will help my weight loss? Yoga is an exercise in mind? Any other advice on how to lose weight would be very useful.
Yoga is a good exercise because it stretches and tones muscles, while soft. I like to combine yoga with some cardiovascular exercise, start taking min 20 runs in the morning or riding a bike instead of driving places. The cardio will help you continue to lose weight, but losing weight in the index at this time ideal (Just over two pounds per week is healthy).

Exercise tips for someone limited by injury?
I have bad hips make it impossible to walk and run. I can not exercise that cause great impact on the legs, as my condition worsens, so high-impact sports (team sports with running, jumping, kicking, etc.) are outside the issue. Swimming also is too inaccessible to me at this time. I do pilates / yoga and cycle. Do you know other sports or exercises that may be suitable? Thanks in advance.
For many years my exercise routine was built in three: cardio (spinning cycle), weights and yoga. It was a great combination for me. At the moment, not a member of a health club, so I lack the spinning bike, well I’m doing with just a few weights at home. I still do my routine yoga asanas. I do not know if you have access to a health club / gym, or if the condition of the hip dismisses the chances of cardio, like an elliptical machine or rowing machine. It is possible that some aerobic instructor driving lessons are an option. Also, if Pilate or Yoga gets old for you, I recommend Tai Chi as a substitute. Namaste, “DWB
